Silk Patola
The Silk Patola Collection was named after the Patola Silk, which is often termed as the queen of all silks. Patola sarees of Gujarat are one of the finest had-woven textiles produced in India today. Each Patola cloth is lined with a number of twisted threads that are dyed according to the pattern. It is done in such a way that the knotted potions of the thread do not catch color. The weaving of the Patola silk is all done by hand in traditional handlooms all over Gujarat, in western India. Patola silks come in all colors but, fuchsia, turquoise and indigo woven together spoke to me the highest. I hope this collection speak to you as well.
